Dan Miller, ARNP
Dan Miller is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. As a Family Nurse Practitioner Dan is trained to evaluate, diagnose, and manage all common, and many uncommon, medical problems for patients of all ages.
Dan is also currently a Paramedic/Engineer for the Saint Lucie County Fire District and holds an A.S. degree in Emergency Medicine from Indian River State College. Dan received his undergraduate education at Indian River State College earning a Bachelor’s in Science in Nursing (BSN). As a registered nurse, he worked for two years in the Emergency Department at St Lucie Medical Center in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. He then enrolled at Florida Atlantic University where he graduated with his Master’s in Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He has practiced at the H.A.N.D.S./VIM Clinic of St. Lucie County in Florida for three years providing primary care for the county's less fortunate population.
Dan feels that the best care is given when his patients are treated as family. This is something that was instilled by his family, nursing education, and the Fire Department. He understands that medical problems can be complex and intimidating. He feels it is important to take the time to educate his patients, and work collaboratively, to empower them in their health care decisions.
